**_ Where do you want to go?_**:
We are looking for a collaborative and pragmatic HSE Coordinator to join the Bayer Crop Science Pinkenba Manufacturing site.

Working closely with our frontline Operators and Managers, you will assist with all forms of risk management and be responsible for conducting day to day environmental processes and maintenance in accordance with Bayer processes and regulatory requirement.

You will be comfortable working with a skilled Operators and completing daily floor walks and audits.

**Our site**: Is made up of a mixture of full time Production Operators, Casuals, Warehousing, Laboratory, Maintenance, Supervisors and Management, creating a workforce of around 60 people.

The site manufactures, bottles and labels chemical products such as Herbicides, Fungicides and Insecticides sold directly to customers via our distribution networks.

The site generally runs Production Monday-Friday 6.30 am
- 4 pm and 3 pm-12 midnight.

In order to support our Production colleagues, this position will work Monday-Friday with a flexible start time between 7 am - 9.30 am, working a 38-hour week.

**_ Do something that moves you._**:

- Conduct day to day environmental processes and maintenance (e.g. air and water sampling and monitoring, coordinating waste disposal streams)
- Coordinate and assist with incident reporting and investigation as required and recommend corrective and preventative actions to prevent future occurrence.
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance against Bayer directives, policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure everyone is working safely demonstrating Bayer’s safety behaviors
- Drive the digitalization of processes and reporting through the use of SharePoint and SAP

**_ Does this sound like you?_**:

- Hold a qualification in Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related discipline.
- Prior experience working in a fast paced, medium to high-risk environment such as Manufacturing, Mining or waste management.
- A sound knowledge of Australian HSE processes, legislation and compliance requirements
- Clear understanding of Bayer’s values and continue to grow our safety culture
- Ability work collaboratively across multiple departments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A down to earth, can do attitude
- A high level of attention to detail and adherence to reporting requirements
- Digital acumen, with the interest in driving the digitalisation of processes, form and reporting
- Experience using SharePoint, SAP and electronic reporting systems would be highly beneficial.
