As the General Manager Human Resources, you will report directly to the CEO and be a key part of the Corporate Leadership Team. You will stay at the forefront of emerging HR issues, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization's goals.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership: You will lead and nurture the HR team and play a key role in the management and leadership of the business.

Strategy: Continuously monitor and respond to HR trends impacting our organization and sector, creating, and implementing strategies that ensure our success.

Recruitment and Retention: You will oversee the talent strategy, from identifying current and future talent needs, managing recruitment processes, ensuring a fit with our company culture, to implementing innovative remuneration strategies to retain our top talent.

Training and Development: You will be responsible for rolling out productivity-enhancing programs, managing government-funded training programs, and liaising with external training providers for program development.

Employee Relations: You will devise ER strategies to achieve organizational objectives, handle staff terminations, advise on the interpretation of the Enterprise Based Agreement, and stay up to date with developments in employment law.

Board Compensation Committee: As the Secretary to the Committee, you will present complex HR papers on HR strategy, remuneration, industrial relations, and senior appointments.

Remuneration and Payroll: Oversee payroll services and advise on market remuneration strategies to ensure we attract and retain top talent.

Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and manage the Diversity and Inclusion strategy to ensure staff from all backgrounds are represented and valued.

Health and Wellness: Manage the Fitness for Work program, Employee Assistance Program, and play a key role in the crisis response team.

Performance Management: Develop core KPIs, manage the Performance Management Process, and oversee the significant annual Incentive Compensation Program.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

You have a proven track record as an experienced strategic and forward-thinking HR professional. You possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You have a solid understanding of HR policies, employee relations, training and development, and have demonstrated the ability to devise successful HR strategies.

Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration,
