Kenmore Uniting Church, nestled in suburban Brisbane, eagerly seeks a dedicated full-time Minister of the Word or Deacon to collaborate in our ministry and mission: Serving our God and our Community with Heart, Mind, and Soul.
Ours is a congregation deeply committed to serving, characterised by open doors and a steadfast belief in spreading God’s boundless love and abundant life throughout our community.
Our facilities include a main church for worship, a quaint historical church doubling as the Inspired Art Gallery, and a spacious Community Centre. This Centre hosts an independent kindergarten and serves as a hub for numerous community groups and church-related activities.
Our aspirations are clear:
- To maintain safe, inclusive spaces that nurture hope and well-being through the avenues of music, art, and opportunities for service.
- To embark on a journey toward becoming a more intergenerational church, fostering connections across age groups.
- To uphold our robust pastoral network, ensuring continued support for older members unable to attend Sunday services.
- To actively support the broader Uniting Church in its endeavours for social justice and aid at local, national, and international levels.
