We are offering an exciting new opportunity for an Undergraduate to join our Project team as a Cadet Environmental Advisor to join Georgiou. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Queensland business unit to assist in the delivery of the Coomera Connector and Hope Island station projects for the Georgiou Group and Acciona Joint Venture partnership.

**What you’ll do (but not limited to)**:
You will be involved in day-to-day operational tasks supporting the Environmental team on site. You will have fantastic support from the team and the tools needed to kickstart your career: Task include but are not limited to:
- Gathering environmental control data on the construction site such as water quality monitoring, dust pollution and erosion and sediment control
- Assisting in data entry, taking accurate and timely data from site
- Getting out onto the project site and assist in the identification and assessment of project environmental risks
- Being a part of Environmental incidents with investigations
- Support project compliance with adherence to company environmental policies and procedures, relevant regulations and environmental permits.
- Live ‘The Georgiou Way’ and ‘Safety is My Way’ and assist the project team to achieve an exemplary safety culture
**What you are good at**:
- You’re focused, driven and a team player and someone who thrives in the outdoors and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty
- Working towards a degree in Environmental Management, Science or Environmental/Civil Engineering
- Ability to communicate, learn and work in a team whilst also taking ownership of your set responsibilities
- Someone who is up to challenge themselves and be proactive in overcoming project challenges
- Hold a current driver’s license and ability to get to site locations
