Upholsterer

Avo Studio is a Melbourne based upholstery business. We make custom made contemporary furniture for commercial and residential spaces.

We are looking for an experienced upholsterer to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

The role consists of the following:

- Strong work ethic
- Must be self organised
- Cutting fabric and pattern making
- Read shop drawings and implement to upholstery
- Foam preparation and upholstery finishes for both contemporary and old design furniture
- Proficient in handling a staple gun
- Attention to detail is a must
- Fit and have driver’s license
- Experience of installing upholstered furniture is beneficial

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- upholstery: 3 years (required)
