Mill Manager

**Reid Stockfeeds is on the lookout for an experienced Mill Manager to join our team in Camperdown.**

We are a leading Australian stockfeed manufacturer with five manufacturing bases across all corners of Victoria. We are a family-owned business, who place an emphasis on an enjoyable work atmosphere.

In this newly created position of Mill Manager reporting to our Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of production operators / millers and will take responsibility for the overall running of the 24 hour milling operation.

**The role includes**:

- Scheduling, staff management, maintenance, routine activities, support to Logistics
- Inventory Management
- Overseeing activities and training of Mill Staff
- Budget Management and cost reporting
- Ensuring product is manufactured in accordance with Feedsafe requirements
- Conduit between Scheduling and Miller teams
- DIFOT
- Safety Management and team engagement
- Ensuring quality requirements are met

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience in a similar capacity in the stockfeed industry is essential
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Flexibility and ability to be on call
- Continuous improvement focus
- Experience in on-site safety, quality and production management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A reliable, committed, self-motivated team player with the willingness to join a growing company.
- Forklift licence
