Permanent Civil Engineering Technician

**About the Role**

As a key member of our team, you as a Civil Engineering Technician will play a vital role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects and contributing to the success of our growing business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support civil engineers in project planning and execution
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Conduct site inspections and assist with project management
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Data Collection and Analysis
- Assist in selecting appropriate materials for different types of projects
- Assist with development approvals, building permits, and other necessary documentation
- Develop and manage Building Information Models (BMI) to enhance project planning and coordination
- Ensure work is performed according to plans and specifications
- Assist in preparing costs and identify potential savings

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years experience in a similar role or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Proficient in data collection, site surveys, and testing methods
- Strong technical skills with experience in CAD and other engineering and project management tools
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to teamwork and delivering quality outcomes

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
