**Position Title**:Theatre Technician

**Salary per hour**:$39.87 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

**Employment Type**:Ongoing full-time OR Ongoing part-time 38 to 76 hours per fortnight

**Award**:Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025

**Role description**

Your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:

- Assist nursing staff in preparing the operating theatre for surgery
- Assist medical and nursing staff in transferring and positioning the patients
- Assist in the transportation of patients within and outside the operating suite.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in stock replacement within the operating suite.

**About you**

To be successful within this role you will need to (ideally) have:

- A certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support (HLT47515) or an equivalent recognized qualification awarded by a registered training organization.
- Greater than 12 months of prior relevant experience as a Theatre Technician.
- Experience in working effectively in a multidisciplinary team
