Tax Lawyer role for mid-tier private practice law firm in Sydney
**Your new company**
Highly regarded mid-tier firm working across all areas of commercial law with a specialisation in tax. They work with business owners and individuals, fostering, and nurturing long term relationships with their clients. Their deep understanding of owner-managed businesses, enables them to develop innovative and creative solutions, leading to positive outcomes.
**Your new role**
- Based in a sizeable tax team under a partner and accredited specialist in taxation law
- Working with external clients providing legal advice in all areas of taxation law
- Working closely with internal teams such as property, commercial, and wills & estates
- Providing an advisory focus across a full range of tax matters
- Assisting a range of leading accounting firms, SMEs, and high net worth individuals
- Promoting the firm by building relationships with clients and attending client functions
- Actively participating in the firm’s activities and events
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia with minimum 2-5 years PAE
- Current Australian Legal Practising Certificate
- Relevant taxation law experience within a Private Practice firm
- Experience in commercial law as well as taxation law highly beneficial
- Strong technical skills in taxation essential
- Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- A can-do attitude and desire to succeed
