Located in the central suburb of Red Hill, the Yarra Rossa Retirement Village Café is seeking experienced customer-focused Café All Rounders to join their team on a casual or part-time basis.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Chef Manager, the Café All Rounder will ensure the Café runs smoothly by assisting wherever required. Café All Rounders interact with people regularly, so a friendly positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are paramount.

The cafe operates from Monday to Friday and potential shifts may include:

- 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
- 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

**Responsibilities include (not limited to)**:

- Preparing/serving of coffee, food and drinks including taking orders.
- Operating a point-of-sale terminal and EFTPOS machine plus cash handling.
- Café cleaning duties including cleaning coffee machines and equipment.
- Refilling drink fridges and snacks.
- Maintaining service area to food safety standards.
- Support of the Café Team with a “can do” attitude.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Previous Café / restaurant experience essential
- Experience in food preparation and handling
- Impeccable customer services skills
- Supportive with a “can do” attitude
- POS/cash handling experience essential
- Confident with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Warm and welcoming disposition and empathy for older people
