**Job Description: Admin and IT Coordinator**
**Location**: Anakie Road Medical Centre
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile **Admin and IT Coordinator** to join our team. This role combines administrative, IT, and site management responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Administrative and Reception Duties**
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient records using practice management software.
- Process Medicare, private billing, and other payments.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.

**2. IT Support and Maintenance**
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Liaise with external IT service providers for advanced technical support.
- Ensure all IT systems, including telehealth platforms and electronic medical records, are functioning optimally.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure compliance with data security protocols.

**3. Management Duties**
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the medical centre.
- Coordinate staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
- Manage stock levels for office and medical supplies and place orders as needed.

**4. General Duties**
- Collaborate with the management team to implement process improvements.
- Provide reports on administrative and IT activities as required.
- Act as the first point of contact for any onsite operational issues.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director) and basic IT systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Understanding of Medicare billing processes and privacy regulations is an advantage.
