We are currently looking for several committed, caring and professional individuals to join our team on a casual basis leading to a permanent role, depending on future need. The advertised role has various shifts.

This is a physically demanding role that involves a lot of personal care. You will be hoisting and doing a lot of manual handling. Previous experience is essential.

**TYPICAL DUTIES MIGHT INCLUDE**:

- Supporting customers with high level of personal care
- Supoporting customer with **extensive** bowel care, and other health and hygiene issues such as eating, dressing, toileting and showering.
- Undertaking various household tasks including mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Applicants from **age group 30 +** will be given priority
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent qualifications.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a car, as the workplace is not close to public transport.
- **Use of manual and ceiling hoists**:

- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Bowel Care: 1 year (required)
- Personal Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Workers Check (preferred)
