Our Operational Communications division is responsible for coordinating and optimising state-wide emergency and non-emergency ambulance response, as well as the provision of patient care through Australia's largest ambulance triage directorate.
About the role
- Strategically contribute to AV's Older Person change agenda, planning and developing programs, policies, approaches, and tools
- Identify trends and improvement opportunities to support Best Care for older people, working with operational and project teams to deliver improvement and monitor performance
- Provide high level advice and detailed briefs, presentations, and thorough governance documentation to support senior management decision making and direction; and
- Role model Best Care principles throughout all aspects of the change agenda.

About you
This role will suit a qualified clinician with previous experience in community and/or hospital in an aged care management or related field. To be considered for this position you will possess:

- A thorough understanding of the health system underpinned by relevant healthcare and project/service improvement experience
- Demonstrated improvement mindset with an interest in and knowledge of Improvement Science tools and techniques
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and developing key stakeholder relationships within and outside the organisation
- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills as to provide authoritative advice and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders across a large a complex organisation
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.

The position is graded at AV-6. The AV grade salary range for AV-6 position is $150,173 to $172,407 plus 10.5% superannuation.
