- Immediate start - after hours and weekend cover - (November - February)**

**The successful applicant(s) in this role may be offered an ongoing fixed term contract until February 2026, if successful you will be able to preference a variety of rotations, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology and Rehabilitation Medicine. We are also able to offer six month rotation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women.**

**Details of Department**
- Austin Health HMO3 General positions offer a variety of experiences including rotations in general, rehabilitation and intensive care medicine. HMO3s in the General stream also have the opportunity to rotate rurally to Mildura Base Hospital or Katherine District Hospital, NT. There is also the ability to complete your Diploma of Obstetrics, with a six-month clinical placement at the Mercy Hospital.**Details of position/position requirements**
- This role specifically is to support the speciality medical units after hours and on weekends. This role does not include any night duty. The units pertaining to these roles are as follows, haematology, oncology, palliative care, psychiatry, dermatology, endocrinology, respiratory, rheumatology, neurology.**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Be registered with AHPRA,
- Have rights to work in Australia - current VISA
- Be dedicated to delivering excellent patient care, and
- Be dedicated to teaching, training and developing strong well functioning teams
