Permanent Role - Global Client - Based Jandakot
This global organisation runs a diverse range of products and services across many industries. They provide customers with sustainable solutions in housing, real estate, energy, water, transportation, and agriculture.
They are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their Supply Chain team based at their Jandakot office. Job outline You will be part of the team to help lead and support the delivery of procurement services including end-to-end procurement activities, with a focus on sourcing indirect services and materials (e.g., IT, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Finance, Legal, HR, Fleet and Facilities).
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage procurement activities including development of sourcing strategies, tender management and assessment and contract negotiation and execution.
- Develop market intelligence, build a strong knowledge of the supply base and supply chain vulnerabilities, and develop a preferred supplier network for current and future requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of sourcing, including contracting strategy, negotiation, sourcing, supplier management and deriving the best value.
- Support contract management activities, including leading review meetings, monitoring performance and spending management.
- Identify and implement risk management strategies to manage supplier risk and ensure supply chain resilience.
**Experience**:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in managing sourcing activities, and experience in indirect services preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally & written will provide all levels of stakeholders.
- Good knowledge and understanding of procurement disciplines, sourcing methodologies and contract execution.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including the ability to influence and resolve disputes.
- A confident negotiator with all levels of stakeholders.
