Vestas has an excellent opportunity to start or upskill your career in the wind industry.** **COO APC > Regional HSE APAC > Construction AUNZ** As a HSE professional one will provide project governance and implement HSE within the Vestas Projects. This position will give you the authority to instruct and advise the construction team, subcontractors etc. This role will support the project teams in the Golden Plains 2 wind farm. **Responsibilities**: - Provide effective project HSE support - Provide effective project construction leadership and support in all HSE matters - Ensure compliance of HSE systems and processes at the project site. - Ensure compliance with statutory legislation for Workplace, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE) - Coordinate and conduct inspections - Provide project leadership team HSE reports as requested - Ensure compliance of HSE training within the project - Implement project HSE documentation - Develop and maintain a professional relationship with contractors, clients and other stakeholders - Ensure all work carried out complies with Vestas Health, Safety and Environment requirements by Vestas policies objectives and targets - Develop and assist in coordination for Project HSE Delivery plan and initiatives - Ensure project HSE targets and objectives are met - Disseminate HSE-related information to project personnel **Qualifications**: - Diploma /Cert IV OHS/WHS - A current white card or equivalent for the construction industry is mandatory - Wind experience is advantageous **Competencies**: - Previous experience as an HSE professional in a wind farm project or major construction project - Understanding and implementation of HSE management systems and certification process (ISO9001, 14001, 18001, 45001, AS4801) - Skilled interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills - Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Communicate effectively with both the contractor and Vestas construction teams - A professional commitment to Safety, Environment, and Quality - Creative time management skills - High-level understanding of HSE information and supervising effective response **What we offer**: - A strong safety culture - Dynamic and fast-paced work environment - An opportunity to work with the world leader in wind energy - The opportunity to further develop your skills and professional development. - Global career progression prospects **Our Benefits** - Join the World's Leading Wind Energy Solutions Provider - Excellent Career Development opportunities both Nationally and Globally - A workplace that embraces Diversity and Inclusion - Flexible workplace arrangements - 13 weeks Paid Primary Carers Leave - 3 weeks Paid Secondary Carers Leave - Employee Assistance Program **BEWARE - RECRUITMENT FRAUD** **DEIB Statement** At Vestas, we recognize the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in driving innovation and success.
