As our new Surface Water Specialist, you’ll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You’ll develop innovative sustainable water solutions that deliver nature positive outcomes. A great opportunity to provide your expertise to a diverse range of projects across multiple industry sectors.

- Provide consulting services to public and private clients, across multiple sectors and industries.
- Develop innovative solutions to deliver sustainable, nature positive solutions for our clients.
- Solve complex problems while communicating with a range of audiences.
- Maintain and further develop relationships with a wide range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders.

What are we looking for from you?

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

Alongside your considerable experience working in the consulting environment or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, you’ll also have:

- Technical excellence in the areas of integrated water cycle management, water sensitive design and flood mitigation
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science or similar.
- Professional registration as Engineer in Victoria
- A demonstrated ability to foster and evolve professional relationships.
- Understanding of the water sector across Australia and challenges and opportunities facing our clients.
- Proficiency in relevant software packages - RORB, TUFLOW, HEC Ras, and MUSIC.
