Mini Bus Driver

The **Mark Moran Group** is an award winning retirement and aged care provider with three outstanding facilities across Sydney. We have a vacancy in our stunning **Vaucluse** facility for a **Bus Driver.** The role is responsible for safely transporting our aged care residents f to recreational outings and provide mobility needs assistance to residents and members as required. When not driving around, the role also assists with Leisure and Lifestyle activities that are arranged for our residents.

**A bit about the role**:

- Drive the bus in a safe manner and in accordance with traffics laws and regulations. - Ensure that time schedules are maintained and communicate delays with passengers and management as soon as practicable. - Assist during outings, activities or programs, which includes the loading of walking and wheelchair residents. You will need to know the correct use of hoist for residents in wheelchairs and correct stowage of residents, goods and equipment. As you manage the bus, you will undertake daily and other vehicle safety checks as required and let the Diversional Therapist know of any vehicle concerns. - Keep the vehicle in a presentable manner at all times with regular external and internal cleaning.
- **A bit about you**: Most importantly, you thrive on customer service and have a great respect for elderly people. You are patient and kind. You will have previous experience working in a similar role. - A valid NSW Driving Licence - Class LR coupled with demonstrated safe driving history. - Specific to our industry, you should have a general understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Principles, and aged-care related legislation. - Certificate III in Aged Care or a related discipline.
