Gymbaroo Assistant

**Work within school hours with children and families who are passionate about early education and development**

**We are looking for an assistant initially, with the aim to train as a GymbaROO teacher - all training provided.**

**Job Role**:

- Assistant: Assist teacher throughout the class, assist parents with their children, keep area and equipment clean, tidy, and safe.
- Teacher: High standard of program delivery, in line with training provided, deliver neurological information to parents, build fun, happy relationships with families.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Child Care or relevant experience (eg. teaching, child care, nursing, Allied Health, Health Sciences, Psychology or similar).
- First aid certificate
- Working with Children Check

- Works well independently or in a small team environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Able to communicate well with families
- Happy and positive personality that enthuses children and families
- Is well prepared
- Teaches classes competently and enthusiastically
- Completes administration tasks accurately and on time
- Always deals with families and other employees professionally

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 - 25 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $39.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All families have their temperature checked on arrival and are asked to sanitise their hands.
All equipment used is cleaned between each class.

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working with children: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
