**About the role**:
As a Irrigation technician, you will work on the Sports ground maintenance contract in City of Melton. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems within the sports turf boundary.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves maintaining and enhancing turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of irrigation requirement's
- Audit, manage, maintain and improve irrigation systems.
- Prepare, implement and regularly adjust irrigation programs, auditing schedules etc.
- Maintain records of works performed.
- Provide reports on irrigation auditing, works undertaken, asset condition etc.
- Undertake fault finding investigations.
- Ensure pre and post irrigation audits, mark-outs and repairs are completed in time for events and other works.
- Other duties as required within the scope of the role.

**About You**:

- Previous experience with irrigation and maintenance and repair
- Experience in installing, maintaining, programming and repairing irrigation systems
- Experience reading and interpreting irrigation drawings and plans
- General plumbing experience (Desirable)
- Team orientated and highly motivated
- Good verbal and written communication skills
