Canteen Assistant

We are looking for a school canteen assistant to work at a primary school in Cammeray.

**Experience**:

- Kitchen hand experience
- Previous canteen experience (highly desirable)

Duties include (but not limited to):

- Food preparation and cooking basic food
- Ensuring good hygiene practices. Cleaning and washing.
- Stock management

Job Type and Category

Work hours are roughly:

- 9:00am to 2:30pm (Mondays to Fridays). Great for mums looking for a part-time job with school holidays.
- Longer hours and additional days may be required in busy periods.

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

- Good communication skills
- Ability to prepare and cook foods
- Be able to complete a Work With Children check
- Food Supervisor Safety (FSS) Certificate (desirable)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Shift work

Work Location: In person
