**THE OPPORTUNITY**

An opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced MC Driver to join our Forrestfield Depot on an Albany run (round trip 12-13 hours)

While you will need to be somewhat flexible with your hours your normal run will depart Perth at 9.30 pm and return to from Albany approximately 11.00am. This is a 5 day a week service.

If you are wanting to be based out of Perth but don't want to spend any time sleeping in your truck, this is the job for you

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Hold a current, valid MC licence.
- Previous Multi Combination and Linehaul experience
- Possession of a current and valid Worksafe High Risk Forklift (‘LF’) ticket preferred but not essential
- Be fully conversant with and committed to fatigue management regulations
- The ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
- Exceptional work ethic, reliability and punctuality
- The capacity to be flexible with times in order to accommodate our valued customers.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Changeover of Trailer hook-ups
- Pre-start checks and vehicle logs
- Ensuring all practices are to OHS standards
- Constant monitoring of product temperature, and use of recordings to back up paperwork
- Completing essential paperwork relative to deliveries
- Completing Fatigue Management Logs
- Electric/Manual Pallet Jack handling and hand unloads
- Read load plan, job cards and related documents specific to work details
- Other duties not listed but will be required
