**What we're looking for**:
You will be primarily engaged on either customer facing or internal professional services engagements. You will be deployed to implement Citrix technologies with key Defence customer projects in Australia.

**Position Summary **Consultants often lead the technical aspects and the development of project deliverables of internal projects (system integration, whitepapers, scalability and performance tests) to a large extent and can lead standard customer engagements of low to medium complexity.

**Responsibilities**
- Continuing to develop the necessary skills required to be effective in the role and to achieve proficiency in one or more relevant technologies.
- The Consultant must be able to solve problems and seek help from more experienced team members or other available sources (e.g. knowledge base articles and manuals) when necessary. The position requires a team player keen to supplement their skills with project experience, self-study manuals and point of need training.
- The Consultant works on internal and customer-facing consulting engagements of low-to-medium complexity and is responsible for completing projects. Senior Consultants are expected to lead ‘standard’ projects of low complexity when required.
- Grows technical capacity beyond the core Citrix products and underlying technologies. Capable of breaking down complex problems into smaller easier to solve problems and to follow a structured process to resolve them.
- A significant individual contributor to the project and team player who helps coordinate activities to ensure task completion.
- Remains current on the latest tools, principles and practices within Citrix and in the industry.
- Proactively contributes information and ideas with others whilst also seeking and accepting advice from others.
- Promotes the services offered by Citrix Consulting both internally and externally.
- Prioritises and focuses on what is most important for their individual deliverables but never at the expense of the overall team deliverables and project success.

**Basic Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of experience as a consultant or 3+ years of experience as a (senior) systems administrator.
- Prepared to travel up to 70-80% of the time (including international travel).
- Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and/or supporting Windows core infrastructure and Citrix DaaS (previously known as Citrix XenDesktop) is essential.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and/or supporting network infrastructure. Experience configuring and/or supporting Citrix Application Delivery Controller (ADC) platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of server-based computing concepts, software installation guidelines and networking fundamentals (e.g. switching, routing).
- Demonstrated initiative, ability and accountability to execute engagements requiring mínimal direction and supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems.
- Demonstrated professional communication skills and standards of document creation.
- Demonstrated positive customer service attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (professional affiliations).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Engineering and/or Bachelor of Information or equivalent industry equivalent experience.
