Dog School Dog Handler and Transporter

**About Us**:
We are a dedicated training, daycare, and boarding facility focused on providing excellent care for dogs. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual for a casual Dog Handler & Transporter position. This role is ideal for someone who is confident around dogs, enjoys interacting with clients, and has a strong sense of responsibility and time management.

**Main Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Safely drive manual and automatic vans to pick up and drop off dogs from daycare, homes, and our paddock.
- Greet dogs and their owners during pick-up and drop-off, providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Follow basic training protocols and instructions.
- Ensure the wellbeing of all dogs under your care.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Must be comfortable around dogs of all sizes and physically fit enough to lift dogs and assist them into vehicles.
- Confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles, including large vans.
- A good driving record and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Competent in using GPS and planning transport routes.
- A bubbly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Logical and capable of making independent decisions.

**Shifts**:

- Morning shifts between 7am and 9:30am, Tuesday to Thursday.
- Afternoon shifts between 3pm and 6:00pm, Tuesday to Thursday.
- Open to someone filling all 6 shifts or splitting between two people.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
