Our lovely Castlemaine service, located 10 minutes from the town center, has a wonderful, architecturally designed indoor and outdoor spaces and is an 80 place service. We are looking for Early Childhood Educators superstar to join our Hive.

We have Full time, Part time and Casual roles available

Essential Qualifications:

- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Current and valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
- First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Understand the developmental milestones and needs of various age groups.
- Design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Work seamlessly as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of an early childhood setting with creativity and grace.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
- Insight into quality service standards and assessment processes.
- Respect for diverse cultures, families, and individual children’s needs.
- Proficiency in using computers and software for documenting children’s learning and development.
- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar.
