GFWA requires a supervisor with an engineering background.

The occupant of this role is required to monitor and control of all aspects of all projects in conjunction with the Project Manager’s, Site Engineer’s and or Leading Hands

The position is full time, and requires the following experience and qualifications.
- An extensive knowledge of Large Diameter bored piling; CFA piling; Driven Piling Sheet Piling and Grouting.
- Knowledge of Diaphragm Walling.
- Full Driving Licence
- At least three years relevant experience with transferrable skill set

The duties are predominately Operational however, Operations has a key functions in how we carryout works, therefore you will be required to assist our estimating team from time to time when they are pricing new works.

The Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.

Projects will include, but not be limited to Grouting, Retaining Walls, Piling and Diaphragm Walls.

**Duties include**:

- Understanding of specifications and contract documents (discussed with Operations Manager).
- When required attend Site Inspections and Pre-contract meeting with clients
- Attend tender handover / pre-planning of works meetings
- Pre-planning, programming and organisation of mobilisation including labour, plant, transport and cranage.
- Manage ordering of materials.
- Assist in set up, monitor and production control.
- Liaise with Client / Main Contractor during the construction phase
- Proper implementation of QA, OHS & Environmental Plans.
- Enforce and maintain safety (employee training, JSA’s, Toolbox Meetings).
- Assess budgets with CA and if required reforecast project cost on monthly basis.
- Liaise with Commercial team with regards to any delays are variations which need action during the works
- Attend Site Meetings when required
- Carryout company site safety audits
- Assist in reporting and issuing safety statistics, man hours, records for monthly report back to group.
