We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Casual Disability Support Worker with excellent communication skills, and a background in mental health to join our dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for.

**Key Responsibility**

As a support worker, you will:

- Provide person-centred support to participants, which may include personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance
- Encourage and assist participants to engage in social, community, and recreational activities.
- Build positive and supportive relationships to promote independence, dignity, and confidence.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to the organisations policies and procedures

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you must:

- Be comfortable supporting participants in this own home and in the community
- Have experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be empathetic, patient and committed to providing high quality care
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or a WWVP check, First Aid Certificate, and relevant degree in the industry

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or a WWVP Check (required)
- Australian Drivers Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
