**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the HR Director, this hands-on position will assist in the development and drive the implementation of short-term and long-term people and engagement strategies to support a positive work culture. You will also be working closely with the venue management teams as a true business partner to:

- Provide timely advice and support across all HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, current legislation, and awards
- Create and deliver further HR initiatives that drive overall engagement and wellbeing
- Manage policies, procedures, and practices
- Ensure compliance with legislation along with best practice

Ideally you will have a strong generalist background in human resources preferably within a hospitality, retail or fast paced environment. You will also have the ability to deliver best in class HR practices that support our people and our culture.
In addition, you will have:

- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, other employment legislation and experience in interpreting Awards, agreements, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and influence management and crew to ensure the achievement of HR and business objectives
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a simplified way
- High-level problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Experience using Deputy (or similar time and attendance system), FlareHR or similar onboarding system, Preceda or similar payroll system
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
