Having successfully navigated complex commercial transformation, they are now seeking to capitalise on their strong forward workload through the recalibration and refresh of their people function in support of new business and cultural objectives.
The P&C Manager will both lead the existing People function as well as drive relevant operational HR best practice to align with business strategy. You will be working closely with all the Executive and Senior Leadership team members in the development and execution of the people strategy and ensuring strong, long-term engagement across a diverse business.
You will:
- Lead, coach and develop the P&C team - supporting their capability growth as required, building the structure, overseeing operational delivery and embedding a continuous improvement mindset
- Develop and implement relevant people frameworks that align with key performance, talent and culture-based objectives
- Drive outcomes with senior stakeholders and peers to establish P&C priorities and develop the strategic road map
You will be working across all levels and divisions of the business, supporting and leading the build of a high calibre HR function. You will enjoy being on the ground and in the business, with a focus on coaching and guiding Managers to better implement established people practices.
As well as the operational oversight of the P&C function, the P&C Manager will also manage annual programs/processes that include talent, performance and reward, employee relations, recruitment and capability. You will facilitate change and take responsibility for strategic HR projects and initiatives as they arise.
Ideally you will bring:
- A strong generalist HR toolkit with previous experience leading and developing an HR function - ideally from within blue collar environments
- Demonstrated strengths in providing advice, coaching and influencing Executive and Senior Leadership teams
- Capability to lead operational HR both as functional lead and in the project management and planning across the employee lifecycle to align to commercial and business requirements
