Are you a commercially savvy buyer with a passion for product innovation and customer experience? Baby Bunting is seeking a dynamic Buyer**to lead the car safety category - managing Car Seats and Accessories - within our high-performing Travel category.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape the future of one of our most critical categories. There’s never been a more exciting time to join the business. Future focused, we’re rolling out innovative store concepts and revitalising our existing network to deliver exceptional experiences for both current and future customers.

**Your Impact**:

- Own the buying strategy for car seats and accessories, driving profitable growth and market leadership.
- Build and nurture supplier relationships, negotiating the best mix of product, price and terms.
- Analyse performance, trends, and customer insights to deliver compelling, compliant ranges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, planning, digital, and store teams to create seamless customer experiences.
- Champion product safety and regulatory compliance in partnership with QA & Product Compliance.
- Lead weekly supplier meetings and contribute to promotional planning and execution.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- 5+ years in retail buying, merchandising or category management.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with technical or hard good high-value categories (nursery, baby gear, or similar preferred)
- Confidence to provide constructive feedback to suppliers and drive product improvement.
- Familiarity with product safety standards and marketing compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, or related field.
