Country Lead

We are looking to hire a Principal /Country Lead to join our team of experts in a dynamic and growing company that is driving the energy transition.

**What you will be doing.**

As our Principal / Country Lead, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary global team, focusing on supporting projects for offshore wind in Australia. You will develop our business in the region by engaging in the offshore wind community, developing, selling and delivering our services to clients. This role is focused on the offshore wind industry, but there will also be the opportunity to support onshore renewables development.

You will have primary responsibility for business development, preparing proposals, winning work, and delivering work. You will be supported in this by our global team of specialists, including the local team in Australia. In addition to the above, you will assist with a broad range of activities that include:

- Attend internal meetings and external/third-party meetings as required and present in a technical or business development capacity.
- Coordinate activities with other local offices within the APAC region and with the global team.
- You will prepare and assist with project bidding and proposal drafting, specifically providing technically, appropriate, and commercially competitive proposals to undertake offshore wind project development phase scopes of work.
- You will provide supervision, mentoring, and quality checking for junior staff.
- There is the option for you to take full P&L responsibility for the OWC Australia business unit.

This role is office-based; you will have a defined work location. Some offshore or onsite work may be a requirement of the job and may include overseas travel as agreed with your manager.

**What we are looking for.**
- At least 10 years of experience, 3 of which should be directly in offshore wind development or construction.
- Experience in guiding and overseeing the work of others, including technical QC, and leading a project through to completion.
- You must have the knowledge to lead, report, and write technical notes.
