**About the role**

WesTrac has a fantastic career opportunity for a Product Health Specialist to join our team based at Mt Thorley

Reporting to the Fleet Performance Manager, the Product Health Specialist is responsible for managing product problem resolution in relation to service, engineering, and machine operational performance of the Off-Highway Trucks fleet across NSW.

The Product Health Specialist is the conduit between our Mining Support teams and Caterpillar’s Product Groups to ensure that product problems and machine performance is managed in accordance with customer and company expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and own WesTrac Product Support strategy for Off-Highway Trucks
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
- Provide high quality information and guidance on technical issues and/or problems as required,
- Project management product improvement initiatives
- Review and investigate technical product issues and provide recommendations for timely solutions
- Provide guidance and assistance to frontline Mining Support teams on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) testing on failed product components and Machine Audits against Cat specifications to ensure machine performance issues are resolved
- Utilise proactive Condition Monitoring tools including Scheduled Oil Samples (SOS), electronic data, machine inspections, site conditions and repair history to make the relevant maintenance and operational practice recommendations to increase product health and reliability

**Skills & Experience**
- Mechanical Trade / Post Trade CAT experience
- High level of customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
- Knowledge and experience of CAT Diagnostic tools and CAT Information systems is highly desirable
