Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced English teacher to join our English Department. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

**The Position**
- Teaching and aspiring to the standards articulated in the Wenona Effective Teaching Cycle in collaboration with our team of professional educators.
- Providing pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of our students.
- Facilitating and enriching student learning and engagement in the classroom and beyond.
- Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community.
- Collaborating and contributing to a team and faculty of professional educators.
- Utilising ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom.

This role is a permanent full-time position, starting at the beginning of Term 4 2025, or by negotiation.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified with experience in teaching English across Years 7-12 and strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum and HSC assessment practices and marking processes. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
