Chisholm's Senior Secondary College is a registered Non-School Provider (NSP), delivering the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Vocational Major (VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC), and primarily educating young people (aged 16+) who have left school early for a variety of reasons. Chisholm also offers an adult VCE program, supporting all students to continue with completion of their secondary certificate and transition into post-school pathways.
Chisholm is seeking experienced and aspiring secondary education leaders, to manage the Senior Secondary College's multi-campus, onsite program delivery of VCE, VCE-VM and VPC to ensure to ensure educational excellence, regulatory compliance and high-quality student learning experiences are achieved.
VCE Coordinators are valuable members of Chisholm's Senior Secondary College leadership team and are required to work collaboratively, within a framework underpinned by child safe practices, to support the educational attainment of all young people and adults in the College. Contributing to a positive education climate, all College leaders are required to demonstrate continuous improvement, innovative practice and demonstrable effort towards student engagement and retention.
As a VCE Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
- Manage, monitor and report on delivery of operational outcomes including teacher performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the teaching team to achieve educational outcomes and a positive culture of teaching, learning, safety and wellbeing aligned with the objectives of the NSP Framework
- Coordinate with non-teaching staff to deliver VCAA operational outcomes including, assessment and progress reporting, accurate internal record keeping, administration of VASS requirements, course enrolments including eligibility and VET selection (VETDSS).
- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and development requirements.
- Coordinate students’ needs including managing student wellbeing responses according to Institute policy and procedure and respond to feedback / issues, including through delegation.
- Ensure comprehensive communication to staff and students regarding VCAA administrative dates and assessment processes
- Actively support the design, development, delivery and evaluation of forward-thinking, innovative curriculum initiatives and high-quality education programs for students, and oversee the consistent development of all learning and assessment resources

You are a highly motivated individual with proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative, high performing and culturally safe manner.
**Qualifications required for the role**:
- Bachelor of Education qualifications or other VIT-approved Secondary Teaching qualifications
- VIT registration
- Demonstrated teaching experience in a senior secondary education setting
