John Hunter Hospital is seeking an experienced consultant in Colorectal Surgery for the provision of contemporary, comprehensive and professional colorectal surgical specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence based and patient centred. The successful applicant provide elective and non-elective general and colorectal surgical care to patients of John Hunter Hospital and Belmont District Hospital.
**Eligibility criteria**
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and/or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Salaried Senior Medical Practitioners Award of NSW VMO Award
- Successful completion of CSSANZ post-fellowship training program or equivalent
- Accreditation by the Conjoint Committee for Endoscopy, Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy
