**The position**:
We are seeking experienced **Catering** **Assistants**, to join our team at the Calvary Public Hospital, located in Bruce, ACT. We have a variety of **casual positions** available, working full-time hours across a 6-week period beginning in May. This is a great opportunity to lock in some full-time hours whilst receiving 25% casual loading.

The two shift times available across a Monday-Sunday are:

- 7am-3pm
- 4pm-8pm

**Some of your day-to-day tasks would include**:

- Provide professional customer service
- Maintain clean and tidy pantry and nutrition bays
- Temperature monitoring and assistance with food preparation and presentation
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions, and special modified diets
- Liaise with Dietitians and clinical staff within the hospital as required

**About you**:

- An excellent eye for detail
- A sound knowledge in food and/or nutrition preferred
- Personable, a team player who has exceptional communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance (or Working with Vulnerable People check) and provide proof of COVID vaccinations
