**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the homes General Manager, you will model a person centred approach, identifying and implementing programs that reflect the personal and lifestyle needs of our Residents.

You will have completed or partly completed Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, have experience in programming a variety of activities of interest for residents with varying degrees of needs.

You will need to have proven experience in coordinating group activities, special events, outings, recruiting & managing volunteers. Your documentation skills will need to be excellent as you will provide input into assessment and evaluation of resident’s progress notes and care plans.

This is a permanent opportunity offering full-time hours across Monday to Friday.
- Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy or similar qualification
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in Lifestyle within Aged Care or Community Services
- Experience working with people with a range of cognitive and physical abilities
- Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing innovative programs
- Knowledge and understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
- Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged and community care environment
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative to maximise positive outcomes
- Immunisation Record - COVID vaccination mandatory
