**Supply Chain Lead**

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused go-getter to join the Hanson team in **Hobart, Tasmania**. The Batcher has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.

**In your new role with us, you will be**:

- Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant
- Operating a front-end loader (FEL)
- Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveries
- Working in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and the customer
- Able to demonstrate safety and show coach and mentoring potential
- Ensure all products adhere to strict quality requirements
- Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required
- Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling

**What we offer**:

- $29.97 per hour, plus penalty rates, plus super
- Monday - Friday generally starting between 5:00/6:00am and finishing 3:30/4:00pm + rostered Saturday mornings finishing up around lunch time
- FEL ticket (if not already achieved)
