How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Contaminated Land Consultant, you’ll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

Our current committed and projected workload provides unique and specific opportunities for Contaminated Land Consultants, Scientists or Engineers to join the team in our Brisbane and Mackay offices. The roles offer diverse, interesting and challenging work with the opportunity to make your mark in a consulting environment.

Here are the key things you’ll do:

- Plan sampling design and coordinate field programs
- Conduct fieldwork and conducting soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, including drilling, test pitting and groundwater well installation
- Provide high quality contaminated land investigations, including Stage 1 and 2 site investigations, data quality assessments, Tier 1 risk assessment and reporting to ASC NEPM requirements
- Develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard and the work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations
- Proposal and project management support to the contaminated land team

What are we looking for from you?

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

Alongside your industry experience in undertaking contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations, you’ll also have:

- Degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines.
- Understanding of ASC NEPM and relevant legislation.
- A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Australian citizenship, or ability to obtain citizenship in future.
- Australian Defence Force baseline security clearance, or ability to obtain clearance.
- Current drivers license.
