**Role and Responsibilities**: As a Part-Time Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of the payroll. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing payroll for employees on a fortnightly pay schedule.
- Calculating and managing payroll-related deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
- Reconciling payroll data and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data.
- Assisting with payroll reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance payroll efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of payroll procedures and relevant laws/regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
- Proficiency in using a large payroll software.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
