**About the Role**:
Develop, recommend and implement a quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements on the project.

**What you will do;**:

- Implement the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met
- Ensure that the project conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements
- Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
- Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement
- Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality
- Provide technical quality expertise for the project
- Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality
- Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
- Select and develop staff within the section to ensure their quality assurance competences
- Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedure

**What we are looking for;**:

- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a quality management role
- Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries
- Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems
- Project management experience
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
