**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with our female participant based in **Greta, NSW**. Our participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and requires complex care.

The current care plan in place requires 24/7 support. The current hours requiring filling include:

- **Day shift**: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6am - 4pm)
- **Inactive Sleepover**: Thursday (10pm-6am, 6am - 4pm)

These days may change, so flexibility is a must.

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon - $42.63 per hour
- Saturday - $54.25 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care - e.g., showering, oral hygiene, hair care
- Complex bowel care - training will be provided
- Catheter care - training will be provided
- Knowledge in pressure area care and the importance of skin checks and monitoring
- Wound care
- Vital sign knowledge - training will be provided
- Manual handling and hoisting
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Assistance with domestic tasks - e.g., cleaning, laundry
- Assistance with meal preparation and eating and drinking needs
- Community access

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
- NDIS Effective Communication Module
- Current National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current NDIS Screening check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current WWCC
