
Hobart Restoration Technician

Australian Restoration Network is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team based in Hobart.
**About the role**
Our new Restoration Technician will be required to:
- Respond to properties affected by water damage, fire damage, sewer incursion, and mould
- Install and monitor specialised restoration equipment for all aspects of mitigation and works
- Communicate and coordinate with all parties involved, including employees, property owners, property managers, and customers
- Full job-specific WHS paperwork and comprehensive on-site reporting
Day to day responsibilities _can _include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting and evaluating property damage
- Make use of tools and machinery designed specifically for water damage restoration and mould remediation works
- Cleanup and restoration services after water, fire, smoke, and mould damage
- Conducting contents inventory
- Demolition and structural stripping, including removal of flooring and plasterboard walls/ceiling, etc.
- Observing the WHS guidelines
- Communicating with all stakeholders when required and upholding the company values and commitments
**Requirements**:
- Must be in possession of a current and valid driver's licence (or willing to obtain one)
- IICRC
- Ability and willingness to travel

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be familiar with and be able to demonstrate proficiency in both mould removal and water/fire damage repair
- Competence in setting priorities and switching gears quickly and effectively
- Superior abilities in both oral and writing communication
- Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Outstanding work ethic coupled with a cheerful disposition
- Driving licence in good standing (needed)

**Salary**: $48,912.28 - $124,285.05 per year
