**About the Venue**:
We are excited to announce Ammos, a new Greek restaurant located at Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. With indoor and outdoor seating offering stunning views of Brighton Beach, Ammos promises an exceptional dining experience coupled with modern interpretations of classic Greek dishes. Open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, Ammos features a traditional woodfire oven along with a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen. **About the Role**:
As a Host/Hostess at our venue, you will be the face of our establishment, creating the first impression for our guests. Your main responsibility will be to warmly greet and welcome patrons, manage reservations, and oversee the seating arrangements in a busy and vibrant atmosphere. To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional organisational skills to manage the ebb and flow of guests seamlessly. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
- Manage reservations and effectively communicate wait times
- Organise and oversee seating arrangements, considering guest preferences and table availability
- Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing lobby area
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth guest flow
- Provide accurate information about the venue, menu offerings, and promotions
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction

**About you**:

- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Experience with SevenRooms highly regarded
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player who can also work independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend availability is essential

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.23 - $37.47 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
