Are you a dynamic team-player with a passion for helping others and have strong organisational skills? We are looking for a dental assistant/ receptionist to join our vibrant team on Mondays & Thursdays at My Local Dentists West Ryde. This role involves a range of administrative responsibilities, including coordinating patient scheduling and dental assisting when required.

**About us**: We are My Local Dentists, serving the Sydney community with six convenient clinics. Our primary goal is to deliver outstanding dental care for all ages, from infants to adults. We're the ones who celebrate those special moments, like babies getting their first teeth You'll find us at local community events and supporting local sports team fundraisers, where we offer dental care and education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming and checking out patients, ensuring their needs and appointments are handled with care and efficiency.
- Managing appointment schedules and working closely with the dental team to streamline practice workflow.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement strategies aimed at improving patient engagement.
- Process payments via Hicaps, cash & eftpos
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with patients and practitioners to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
- Support our dentists in patient care, sterilize instruments, prepare treatment rooms, and deliver exceptional assistance to ensure a seamless patient experience

Schedule:

- 10 hour shifts
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts

**Experience**:
Dental assistance 1 year ( preferred but not essential, training will be provided)

Receptionist/ front facing role 1 year preferred

Job type: Part-time, Casual

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
