**About the business**

The Miami Bakehouse Group has been operating for more than 19 years and is a leading food manufacturer operating across 7 sites. Our central baking facility and head office supplies our six retail businesses across WA’s southwest.

**The apprentice role**

Miami Bakehouse is one of the only few bakeries that teach both bread and pastry cooking as a combined apprenticeship. This is a 3-year apprenticeship based in Mandurah that offers great hands on experience in a supportive working environment where you will gain a broad range of skills in cakes, savouries and bread.

This is a full time position; 4 days in the Bakery and 1 paid day at Tafe (earn as you learn).
- A passion for baking/cooking.
- Sound literacy, math and communication skills.
- A positive attitude to learning and able to follow instructions.
- Availability to work a range of shifts between 8am-11pm including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
- Be physically able to stand for pro-longed periods with a high level of vigour.
- Reliable transport to get to and from the workplace and Tafe (Bentley Campus).

**Salary**: $31,475.00 - $51,500.00 per year
