As an MSL Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Define the MSL strategy within Medical Affairs, ensure that MSLs fully implement the Medical Plans, and guarantee that the team has a complete understanding and alignment with the medical strategy.
- Coach MSLs to develop strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and interact with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to understand their views, preferences, and interests, as well as identify where Novo Nordisk can partner with them to meet their needs.
- Build the capability and capacity of MSLs to ensure high-quality scientific engagement, coaching the team to develop and update the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) list for responsible disease areas through a thorough KOL identification, profiling, and mapping process.
- Organise and conduct MSL training to fulfill organisational needs, including routine co-visits with KOLs to ensure the quality of scientific discussions and insight generation.
- Recruit and establish a qualified MSL team while enhancing cross-functional collaboration and alignment and ensure strict medical compliance in MSL daily activities.
**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline: MBBS, PhD, BPharm or BSc.
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs in advancing the medical and scientific objectives of a pharmaceutical company; prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment, preferably in the pharma industry.
- Possessing excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, along with proven ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with external experts, physicians, and healthcare professionals, as well as people management experience.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
