DENTAL ASSISTANT FOR MOBILE DENTAL SERVICE.

**Days required - Fridays initially with additional days in future. **Also will be required to assist with restocking of supplies on a non clinical day for approximately 2 hours.

**Minimum of 12 months dental assisting experience required and open driving licence. Must be willing to learn to drive dental van.**

We are a Brisbane based mobile dental service provider, providing children’s dentistry through schools and child care centres. We cover Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a reliable, caring, hard working dental assistant. Start time 7.00am. End time 4.00pm approximately. This is a rewarding opportunity to experience a unique model of dentistry, where you are able to make a contribution to the lives of children that may otherwise miss out on essential dental care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the clinician as required
- Prepare and set up clinics between patients following a high standard of infection control.
- Sterilization of instruments
- Restocking of dental supplies on a different day.
- Available to work 7.00am - 4.30pm.

Skills, personal qualities and experience
- Willing to commit long term.
- Previous Dental Assisting (Minimum of 12 Months Required)
- Caring and Friendly manner
- Enjoy working with children
- Excellent communication skills
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- A willingness to learn & develop
- Previous experience using Dental 4 Windows (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to learn to drive a dental van an advantage
- Blue Card an advantage

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week
