The Day Shift Machine Operator will follow and perform all company procedures and all WHS obligations & requirement. Operate the machinery to manufacture ITW products with Safe Work best practices and accomplishing with the product specifications to ensure 100% Quality of the products. Operate, set up and maintain the line machinery to keep the fast-paced in a high-speed environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- **Workplace health & Safety **- Work with a positive safety culture through committed, contributing to perform with safe practice, safe systems and safe behaviour. Take reasonable care for own health & safety as well as the health & safety of all co-workers across the site. Promptly report any workplace hazards &/or incidents in line with company policy. Play an active role to improve safety standards and participate on investigating of any accident or incident that causes lost time or medical treatment to establish root cause and to identify corrective actions to implement.
- ** Quality - **Perform daily activities maintaining high quality standards, following the procedures, quality checks and meeting the product specifications to ensure the end customer satisfaction. Seek for productive improvements creating a culture of quality continuous improvement. Support a proactive collaborative culture taking ownership and accountability for their respective work areas. Build and maintain a 5S standard and housekeeping workplace.
- ** Production** - Operate the line machinery to manufacture ITW products according to products specifications. Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain the assigned machines. Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Follow the production planning and guidelines related to Safety, Quality and productivity. Raise any concern/incident about Safety, Quality and Machine Reliability to the leadership team and senior workers to assess and meet the daily production target.
- **Continuous Improvement** - Contribute to a continuous improvement cultural within the team and take an active role in implementing ITW tool box continuous improvement activities that address safety, quality, and efficiency.
- **Performance & Culture - **Build and support ITW culture & values.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Equivalent position or minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar manufacturing environment;
- Strong commitment to support Safety, Quality and high-performance culture;
- Able to set up, adjust and operate a variety of thread rolling ,roll forming and heading machines;
- Metal stamping and forming (press shop);
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions;
- Analytical skills and attention to detail capability to manufacture products in fast-speed environment;
- Able to use hand and power tools;
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring equipment; and
- Basic QC/ QA experience.
