Disability Support Worker

Location: Ormiston 4160
Hours: 9-12 hours/week (3hr mornings, 2hr evenings)

**Role**:
We’re seeking a caring Disability Support Worker to assist a client with daily living tasks (personal care, meals, light housework) and community access (appointments, errands, social activities).

**Key Skills**:

- Experience in disability support (preferred).
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.

**Documents Required**:
1. Updated resume.
2. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
3. Valid Working with Children Check.
4. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
5. First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
6. NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
7. Two professional references.

**Bonus**: Interest in knitting (client enjoys this activity).

Health Promotion

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.97 - $52.98 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Morning shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 01/03/2025
